This is my new blog. Aint it spiffy?
I’ve been putting off upgrading to Rails 2.1 for a lot of reason the best one being the newer features were not necessary for my clients.
But finally I bit the bullet and did and, initially, things seemed to have gone great. The app loaded, pages loaded … sweet, better than I’d hoped.
Except, it was not perfect. For example, exception_notification stopped working and I had to monkey-patch it. And will_paginate was giving me stack over-flow errors. The worse thing was exception_notification because I did not see that some of the paginated pages were throwing errors. Note to self, check logs for awhile after the next upgrade.
